Math. The way it was meant to be learned.

October 21, 2022 by Shmuel Meyers

Let’s face it.
Math is a hard, cumulative subject.
Miss the foundations, and you’ll run into trouble at higher levels.

👇So why is this child smiling about finishing a math work?👇
At MTA, we use tools like ☝️these☝️ Bead Chains as a visual approach to learning math concepts.

By concertizing abstract ideas, children are able to see a representation of the quantity of any number and how those numbers interact with one another.

Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and many other skills are introduced, practiced, and developed with these beads.

Skills are established one concept at a time, making sure each student fully, “gets it” before moving on to more complicated ideas.

And that’s something worth smiling at.
