Walk into MTA* and you may be surprised to see our expanded and enhanced Elementary classroom!
Over the summer, we’ve been hard at work, tearing down walls and building new ones to accommodate our larger Elementary cohort. The finished product is a gorgeous large classroom, with plenty of space for each child, in true Montessori style.
We could have never done this without the gracious help of Yossi Waldman, Brent Hackworth, and the Highgates construction team, who worked tirelessly to ensure our children have what they need to succeed. On behalf of the kids, THANK YOU!
We’d like to thank the entire Temple Shalom team for making this exciting expansion possible! We are blessed to have such accommodating hosts to allow us to make this much-needed expansion.
A little while ago, we invited Mr. Waldman to come and affix a new mezuzah to the doorpost of the newly expanded classroom. The kids learned about the importance of this critical mitzva, and had the beautiful opportunity to express hakaras hatov – gratitude – to our partner who made the expansion possible.
A Mezuzah is a staple of any Jewish home or building, proudly affirming our love for G-d and His Ways. Inside the Mezuzah is a handwritten scroll, with words originally appearing in the Torah millennia ago, yet still just as relevant today as they were then:
“You shall teach them thoroughly to your children” – Deuteronomy 6:7.
At MTA, we’re doing just that.
Teaching these words to our children. As we have throughout ages. Passing the eternal bond of the Jewish People on to the next generations.
So they can do the same.
If you haven’t seen the magic of MTA yet, please come visit!
We’d love to walk you through our doors to experience for yourself what is so special about our unique approach to education. Reach out to me at 414-331-7447 to schedule a visit.
Have a wonderful Shabbos!
